The products sold in the Nerve Boutique were produced and created by our talented friends in Uganda, such as Flavia from SNUPA - The Source of the Nile Union for Persons with Albinism.

Part of the income generated by this store provides funding to SNUPA, who are able to invest in new equipment to increase their impact across Uganda.

People with albinism suffer every day. From health issues, to being stigmatised, to facing violence and even death. These are real issues affecting thousands of people everyday and SNUPA works tirelessly to prevent. The organisation serves its community in many ways, including improving livelihoods and providing access to hats, high-factor sunscreen, dermatology and other health care services.

Our persons with albinism are having endless smiles because of NERVE, and we believe that if NERVE is given the necessary support, the world will be a great place for persons with disability and other marginalised people.” (Faruk Kiiza of SNUPA)
